Each wet specimen is professionally fixed with formalin to ensure lifetime preservation. The specimen is housed in 70% isopropyl alcohol and can be easily changed as needed. Due to the size & amount of liquid, this specimen jar may be fully or partially drained prior to shipping & will instead be wrapped/covered in isopropyl-soaked paper towels; upon arrival you will need to refill the jar with 70% isopropyl alcohol. We recommend keeping the specimen out of direct sunlight!
